Absinthe at Caesars Palace: Teatro ZinZanni Meets the Can-Can—with a Shot of Absinthe-A Review

Las Vegas is full of spectacular productions, but Absinthe manages to stand apart by blending world-class circus acts, sharp adult comedy, and old-world cabaret into a wildly entertaining evening. The best way I can describe it is Teatro ZinZanni meets the Can-Can—with a shot of absinthe and zero adult supervision.

Performed in an intimate Spiegel tent outside Caesars Palace, the show puts the audience just a few feet from the performers. That proximity makes every stunt feel more dangerous and every joke more personal. This isn’t a giant arena production—it’s an immersive experience where you’re part of the action.

The evening is held together by The Gazillionaire, a delightfully sleazy master of ceremonies, and his quick-witted sidekick. Their irreverent banter, fearless audience interaction, and politically incorrect humor won’t be for everyone, but if you’re willing to go along for the ride, they’re consistently hilarious and keep the pace moving between acts.

The talent on stage is extraordinary. Among my favorite performances were the surreal giant latex balloon act, a visually stunning and surprisingly graceful display of contortion and comedy. Equally memorable was the Singin’ in the Rain-inspired lamp-post routine, where a performer in a business suit transforms an ordinary streetlamp into an acrobatic apparatus, blending dance, athleticism, and theatrical storytelling. Another standout was the Scott Brothers, whose lightning-fast tap dancing brought incredible precision, energy, and charisma to the stage.

Of course, no review of Absinthe would be complete without mentioning the breathtaking acrobatics that have made the show famous. Every act demonstrates world-class skill, and the intimate setting amplifies the suspense in a way that larger productions simply can’t match.

Absinthe isn’t family entertainment, nor does it try to be. It’s unapologetically raunchy, delightfully outrageous, and filled with humor that pushes boundaries while celebrating exceptional live performance. If you’re looking for polished spectacle with a healthy dose of irreverence, this is one of the most original and entertaining shows in Las Vegas.

Whether you’re visiting Las Vegas for the first time or returning for another trip, Absinthe deserves a place at the top of your must-see list.
