Billings, Montana Travel Guide

Billings, Montana is another hidden gem that has a growing queer community and plenty of opportunities for LGBTQ+ travelers to explore. 

The city is located in the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains and is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes that are great for the lovers of the outdoors. You can take a hike in the nearby mountains or explore the Yellowstone River, that runs through the heart of the city. 

Looking for a night out? Billings has a few LGBTQ+ friendly bars and clubs. The Loft is known for their live music, and High Horse Saloon and Eatery hosts events like drag shows and karaoke. 

The Yellowstone Art Museum is a must-see with their contemporary art exhibitions and events that are hosted throughout the year.

The Fieldhouse Cafe is a popular LGBTQ+ friendly spot for breakfast and lunch, while Walkers Grill is a nice spot for dinner. For the sweet tooths out there, make sure to check the Candy Town USA which is known for their delicious candy and chocolates.
