SEATTLE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Today, BumbershootArts & Music Festival announces the appointment of Camilla Walter as the executive director of its nonprofit entity, Third Stone. Walter brings over 10 years of experience in fund development, along with strategic planning and fundraising skills to her new role.
“During my time at Real Change, I was honored to be part of a collective effort of dedicated, caring individuals – all working together to uplift voices, art, and perspectives that make our region so special. It was these same endeavors that drew me to Third Stone”
Most recently, Walter served as the executive director of Real Change Homeless Empowerment Project, a nonprofit that includes the Real Change Newspaper known as North America’s leading street newspaper; and a vendor program that offers a low-barrier work opportunity to hundreds of homeless and very low-income people in the Seattle area.
As the new executive director for Third Stone, Walter will guide organizational operations and growth while also leading strategic planning, fundraising, program development, and community engagement efforts.
