UnCruise Adventures Launches Alaska Season with Unique Itineraries and Multiple Awards

JUNEAU, Alaska–(BUSINESS WIRE)–UnCruise Adventures proudly kicked off one of Alaska’s longest cruising seasons, as guests embarked from the Seattle area via the Ballard Locks aboard the Wilderness Legacy on April 15. The voyage begins with a spectacular journey through the Inside Passage, incorporating visits to Olympic National Park and an extended two-day exploration of Glacier Bay National Park.

Family-owned UnCruise Adventures distinguishes itself by offering early spring through fall adventures that are unmatched by other cruise companies, providing guests the opportunity to engage with Alaska’s pristine wilderness over an extended season.

Amazing Start to the Season with Wildlife and Northern Lights

UnCruise Adventures is delighted to share the extraordinary highlights from the first Alaska expedition aboard the Wilderness Legacy that embarked on her first Alaskan adventure last week. As we set sail, guests were treated to the magnificent sight of orcas off the Washington coast, and a curious raven seemed to guide our path northward. Upon arrival in Alaska, the welcome was nothing short of magical: bears were spotted in their natural surroundings and the skies lit up with the stunning aurora borealis. These experiences set the stage for what promises to be a season full of unparalleled natural wonders and wildlife encounters.

UnCruise Celebrates 4 “Best in Alaska” Awards

UnCruise Adventures is thrilled to announce the addition of four “Best in Alaska” awards to our trophy case, solidifying our status as the most highly awarded cruise line in Alaska. Officially named “Best Small-Ship Expedition Line” by U.S. News & World Report and “Best in Alaska” in the Cruise Critic Editor’s Picks’ Awards. Additionally, two ships, the Wilderness Legacy and the Wilderness Discoverer, occupy two top-five spaces in USA Today’s annual “10Best” Best in Alaska category (the only company to have two ships listed in the top five).
